In February 2001, the United States Olympic Committee announced an agreement with Roots that makes the brand the official outfitter of the 2002 U.S Olympic and Paralympic Winter Teams. At the same time, Roots outfitted the British Team with their parade uniform. Many of the 2002 Canadian and U.S Team apparel items developed by Roots will be offered to consumers at Roots locations worldwide.
