The Space Store began as a hobby in May of 1997 for Houston rock and roll disc jockey, Dayna Steele Justiz. From those humble beginnings in the basement of the Justiz family home, with her sons acting as the official 'toy testers', The Space Store has grown to be the largest space-related retail website in the Universe.
Featuring over 500 quality products from a $.50 NASA Pencil to a $20 million ride to the International Space Station, The Space Store is recognized worldwide for not only our great selection of products, but also for our high standards of customer service.
In June of 2000, Space Media Inc., a SPACEHAB Inc. INC. company, acquired The Space Store. SMI provides unique space education opportunities through STARS Academy and provides content development for larger projects involving in-space media productions, advertising and marketing. SMI clients have included LEGO and Popular Mechanics Magazine.
SPACEHAB Inc. provides commercial space services. The company develops, owns, and operates habitat modules and cargo carriers providing laboratory facilities and resupply capabilities aboard NASA’s Space Shuttles. In addition, SPACEHAB supports NASA astronaut training and builds space-flight trainers and mockups.
You may return an item in its original condition, including all packaging, for a refund within 30 days of receiving - unless otherwise noted on the item page. Shipping & handling charges are refunded only if the return is due to our error. Include a copy of your invoice stating your name, address, order number and the reason for your return. If using a credit card, the refund will be credited to your account. If paying by money order or check, a refund check will be mailed to you in 1-2 weeks. We suggest you use UPS or Insured US Mail for the return. If there is any question, our contact information is to the left and we are more than happy to hear from you. Please note: Special orders cannot be cancelled and will not be refunded. This includes large quantities that have to be specially ordered and drop-shipped from the manufacturer.
